Dr. Buchsbaum was excellent. He made me feel comfortable and talked me through during the entire procedure, which only took about 10 minutes and was completely painless. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful when I had questions. I was able to see perfectly the very next morning. I strongly recommend this to anybody who is thinking about it. This procedure was completely life changing and this is the place to do it.

I had a wonderful experience at Manhattan Lasik. Since the consultation, everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and answer my questions. Kim, one of the nurses, is amazing! I was lucky to have her for the consultation and during the surgery with Dr. Buchsbaum. She was so sweet- and she and the Dr. kept talking to me throughout the procedure. I felt safe and I knew I everything was going to be ok. Here I am, just a few hours after the procedure at my follow-up visit and I feel great! I have no discomfort, and I can see! Opening my eyes this morning, was like a miracle! I got LASIK (PKR) done a few months ago at Manhattan LASIK and I'm so glad i did! The procedure went well. My eyes took a apfew weeks to adjust but by a month, I was able to see very clearly. The doctos are great and happy to answer any questions or concerns. My only complaint is that I usually have to wait a bit to be seen by the doctors. I'm not sure if it's just the one-off cases for my appts but one time, I had to wait 30 mins after my appt time, which was pretty ridiculous.

My experience at MLC was a great one! My cousin recommended that I do the procedure and I was unsure but I checked it out. It turned out that with the free consultation I was a good candidate. The staff were all professional and reassuring which is great. During the surgery my doctor talked me through it which helped a lot. I definetely will and do reccomend this center, there isnt anything to worry about ?

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. All my questions and concerns were properly addressed by the doctor and staff, both before and after the procedure. I came in for my free consultatin on a Tuesday, had LASIK on Thursday and Friday i was able to see clearly. I highly recommed MLC to anyone considering LASIK.

Dr. Buchsbaum was wonderful throughout the procedure - he calmed my nerves and walked me through what I needed to do and answered questions along the way. I would highly recommend him to my friends and coworkers.

For what could be better - he could be a little louder during the operation as the machine made a lot of noise. Also, if you put a tissue to the side of the eye when putting in the eye drops, it wouldn't overflow and trickle down the sides which was a bit uncomfortable.

So far the experience has been going well. The procedure itself was quick and Dr. Niksarli was helpful in relaying calming feedback to me as the procedure was going on. Right now im just 12hrs from having gone through the surgery and I feel like I can see at 80%. I look forward to recovering to 100% thanks to everyone at MLC.

My experience was super. I had all the information I needed in order to be prepared for surgery and recovery.
The surgery was minimally uncomfortable (imagine someone pressing their thumbs on your eyes) and over very quickly. My vision is even better than I hoped. I've worn glasses for 32 years and I'm very happy to be done them. Best money I've ever spent.

This whole experience was amazing. Loved the care and the time the docter took and the nurse that helped him was phenominal. They took care to make it comfortable for me. Great!

In the past i have been turned off by too agreesive of a sales pitch. I requested that every one turn down the sales dial before i began and they did a good job of telling me what i needed to know with out being to salesy.

If i had to give any feedback i would ask that they
A) communicate about wait times. Every time i come for an appointment there is a wait. Im fine waiting just let me know where i am at in the process
B) make a voice recording of the instructions about medications so that if you cant read it af
Ter your surgery you can check your voice mail and have the recording there.

I had my procedure done on monday evening, and tuesday morning i could already see a major difference. Slightly foggy, which is normal for the following day. Still, I was able to take public transportation to come in for my follow up appt. The surgery itself is super fast. You feel the slightest bit of pressure in the beginning, but the doctor is extremely comforting through the process as he explains everything that you are experiencing or about to experience and gives you peace of mind throughout the surgery. It took maybe 15 or 20 minutes and the staff as well as the doctors make sure to address any concerns or questions you may have. Amazing experience and i wouldnt hesitate to recommend a family member or friend.

After many months of thinking about getting Lasik, I finally decided to get it done here. I have read other people's reviews and I have to say that my experience was a positive one. The staff is great and very friendly. The doctors are also very reassurring during the procedure. You get a blanket and a teddy bear to hold on to during the procedure. The nurses are always checking up on you as well. They explain everything and answer all your questions. They even offer financing options and work with you to make affordable payments. I woke up this morning and didn't need my glasses which is an amazing feeling. Would definitely recommend this place. Thanks!

Was painless procedure, and woke up next day with perfect vision, however when i got home my eyes were tearing all night and it still hurts like an eyelash stuck in my eye i was not expecting this. They make you wait for hours so a simple procedure that only takes 30 mins w recovery time turns out to be a 4 hour experience, i left for 90 mins rather than sit around which made it more bearable. Post operation they make you wait around for an hour after your appointment, and tend to overbook so thats why i am not 100 pct satisfied.

The overall experience was excellent. My vision was originally so poor that i was told my left eye may never be 20/20 even post surgery. I had the surgery yesterday, woke up this morning, and saw excellent with both eyes. I believe my left eye is now 20/20 as well as my right. I highly recommend the surgery for anyone with extremely poor vision who qualifies. The doctor was so helpful, talked me through the surgery, and the entire staff made me feel comfortable every step of the way.

The whole experience was great. The consultation took about an hour and was able to get a decent price. I had the lasik procedure done and i didnt feel a thing. I slept home right after and the next day i was good to go. The price was also very reasonable compared to others in the area. Would definately recommend it.
